These years include the first anniversary that is considered a major milestone for any marriage, this, of course is the Silver Wedding (25 years) and then 5 years later is the also popular Pearl Wedding (30 years.)

These milestone events, just like all the milestone events have their own title e.g. Silver Wedding, Pearl Wedding, etc.  rather than the often misquoted silver anniversary or pearl anniversary as this would imply you are celebrating an anniversary of the Silver or Pearl Wedding and that would happen a year later (it gets very confusing!)
